Five Minor Scale

Hi guitar lovers, I almost explain how to make a major and minor scale. Today I teach you what is the five minor scale, it is very easy let’s see-

1. Natural and Pure:

The minor scale is the second most important scale (next to the Major scale). It is formed from the 6th degree of the Major scale. It is called the Natural Minor scale and the Aeolian mode.

Look at the chart below ( It used the A minor scale in Bar Notation)

here is the guitar frame of “A minor natural or pure scale” how to use the note see below-

  • First stroke “A middle note in Bar notation” 7th fret- 4th string- 4th finger in pinky.
  • Second stroke “B middle note in Bar notation” 4th fret- 3rd string- 1st finger in index.
  • Third stroke “C middle note in Bar notation” 5th fret- 3rd string- 2nd finger in middle.
  • Four stroke “D middle note in Bar notation” 7th fret- 3rd string- 3rd finger in ring.
  • Five stroke “E high note in Bar notation” 5th fret- 2nd string- 1st finger in index.
  • Six stroke “F high note in Bar notation” 6th fret- 2nd string- 2nd finger in middle.
  • Seven stroke “G high note in Bar notation” 8th fret- 2nd string- 4th finger in pinky.
  • Eight stroke “A high note in Bar notation” 5th fret- 1st string- 1st finger in index.

2. Harmonic Minor Scale:

The Harmonic minor scale is the same as the natural minor scale expect that is has a raised 7th degree.

Look at the chart below ( It used the A Harmonic minor scale in Bar Notation)

3. Melodic Minor Scale:

The Melodic minor Scale raises the 6th and 7th degree one half step. Look at the chart below ( It used the “A” Melodic minor scale in Bar Notation).

4. Mixed or Combined Minor Scale:

Same as Ascending in Harmonic minor scale raises 7th note one half step but Descending Natural Pure.

5. Hungarian or Gypsy Minor Scale:

Ascending and Descending are same. The Hungarian minor scale raises the 4th and 7th note one half step. Look at the chart below ( It used the A Hungarian or Gypsy minor scale in Bar Notation).
